With more than 1,500 volunteers located across the state, our highly trained teams deliver expert rescue response across a range of disciplines, including Road Crash Rescue, General Land Rescue, Vertical Rescue, Water Rescue and other specialist operations.
Our volunteers are trained, qualified and equipped to the same professional standards expected of emergency response personnel. Through rigorous training, ongoing assessment and real-world operational experience, our teams provide a level of capability and readiness equal to that of professional rescue services.
From highways and bushland to alpine environments, caves and flood-affected areas, our volunteers are prepared to respond in some of the most challenging conditions.
